HIGH-TECH AGRICULTURE

The future of extensive agriculture

The fertilization of the vineyard is a complex process due to the characteristics of the crop: it is woody, perennial, and rainfed, which limits the effectiveness of fertilizers. HAF manufactures liquid fertilizers based on natural raw materials to strengthen the vine and improve production.

Plantation fertilization is applied at the beginning of the crop using organic fertilizers buried superficially, along with mineral fertilization, avoiding the use of nitrogen to prevent plant exhaustion. As the vine grows, maintenance fertilization is carried out, prioritizing fruit quality over quantity. Foliar analysis and diagnosis allow detecting nutritional imbalances and adjusting fertilization precisely.

Foliar fertilization is applied in the form of soluble salts with microelements, essential due to their scarcity and the risk of imbalances. On the other hand, fertigation provides nutrients through irrigation water, considering the needs of the vine, the water, and the soil. This technique allows rapid and localized absorption of nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium), optimizes the irrigation network, and reduces costs, being especially useful for correcting deficiencies efficiently. Phosphorus needs do not have such sharp peaks and are more regular throughout the cycle.
